Hey There!
I’m Daniele Serrano, a Connecticut-based photographer and Visual Fine Arts student at Tunxis Community College (CT State Community College). I’m also a proud mother of four and grandmother of three—roles that deeply influence how I see the world and the stories I choose to tell through my work.
My journey with photography began long before it became my profession—sparked by an old Nikon film camera my father gave me in the 1980s and fueled by a lifelong love of visual storytelling. After years of learning independently through hands-on experience, online education, and perseverance, photography became something far deeper for me.
In 2020, following the sudden loss of my sister, the camera became my lifeline. During that time, photography helped me process grief, reconnect with the world, and ultimately find purpose. What began as a form of healing evolved into a calling.
As my technical skills grew, so did my passion for education. While returning to school, I discovered how much I loved helping others learn photography—an experience that shaped my long-term goal of teaching at the high school or college level. I believe photography is not just about creating images, but about empowering people to see differently and express themselves with confidence.
At age 53,  I bring resilience, life experience, and intention to everything I create. I aim to offer the best customer service experience possible and my focus is on offering an amazing experience for my client.
Photography changed my life—and my mission is to use it to educate, inspire, and help others find their voice through art.
